From Fly Fishing Evolution Blog – Some Extremes…

I got out to fish the West Branch of the Delaware with my good friend John on Saturday. It went from a beautiful fall day to an all out blizzard in only a few hours. The fishing was excellent, and what was even better was the blue winged olive hatch we hammered fish on dries for over an hour! It was awesome, casting dries in the snow. We didn’t catch anything big, but we got a lot! Before and after the hatch we did well on eggs and bwo nymphs.

It was well worth the EIGHT HOUR DRIVE home :)
